Ginger kuzhambooo by uma subramanian

Ingredients
ginger 300gm
garlic 30 cloves
sambar powder 11/2 teaspoon
tamrid 1 lemon size
brinjal 2
salt
mustard seeds 1small spoon
urad dhall 1 small spoon
curry leaves
asafoetida powder
oil 4 teaspoon


preparation:


peel the ginger ,cut into small pieces. fry the ginger till it get into golden brown in colour by adding the oil and grind the ginger into paste.cut the brinjal into four pieces. To the dawa add the oil then addthe mustard seeds,urad dhallafter the mustard seeds bursts add curry leaves ,asafoetida powder ,brinjal piecesand garlic fry the mixture.after frying add the  small amount of water.then add the sambar powder. let it to boil for 5 to 8 minutes . make the tamrid water  by dissolving the tamrid in water. Then add the tamrid water into the boiling mixture.after that add the ginger paste into the boiling mixture.let into boil till liquid become kuzhamboo.
