Ham salad sandwich
Cooked ham, finely
chopped 1 cup
Hard boiled eggs, chopped
2 nos.
Lemon juice 1 tsp.
Spicy brown mustard 1 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce ¼ tsp.
Green pepper, finely chopped
2 tbsps.
Mayonnaise 4 tbsps.
Bread slices 8 nos.
Egg (raw) 1 no.
Milk ¼ cup
Butter or margarine 4 tbsps.
Salt ½ tsp.
Preparation:
1.Mix the ham, hard boiled eggs, lemon juice, mustard, worcestershire sauce,
salt, green pepper and mayonnaise.
2.Spread this mixture on 4 slices of bread and cover them with the remaining 4
slices of bread.
3.In a shallow bowl beat the raw egg and milk.
4.Carefully dip each bread sandwich in the egg mixture.
5.In a frying pan melt butter and place the coated sandwiches in the pan.
6.Cook them uncovered for 4-5 minutes or till golden brown on both sides.
