Mulligatawny soup
Ingredients :
Rice - 10 tsp
turmeric powder - 2 tsp
Chicken Boneless - 30 gms
To grind
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
onion small - 1 tsp
green chili - 1/2
ginger paste - 2 tsp

Grind the above ingredients into a smooth paste

Preparation :

Add 3 - 4 tsp of ghee in a pan , add jeera - 1 tsp and then add finely
chopped onion (1/4 small size) , and then add the gorund paste and let it
simmer for  a couple of minutes, when the ghee tends to separate from the
rest of the paste.

Then add 2 cups of water along with the chicken, turmeric powder , curry
leaves, rice and 2 tsp of pepper and salt to taste

Turn the gas down to medium low and let the soup simmer, keep stirring it
once in a while, check for the taste and consistency.

Let the chicken and rice cook well for about 20 - 25 minutes in medium heat.

Turn down the gas and serve the soup hot  with your favorite appetizer.
