Payatram paruppu Kolambhu( moong dal kolambhu)
Ingredients: Tamarind paste - 1 small lemon size Green chillies - 1 Sambar powder - 1 1/2 spoon salt to taste mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon Red chillies- 4 asafetida - 1/2 spoon urad moong dal - 1 spoon tomatoes - 1 Fenugreek - 1/4 tea spoon curry leaves
Preparation:
1) Cook the moong dal well.
2) Add tamarind wter to the cooked moong dal.
3) Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,fenugreek asafetida, red chillies, dal.
4) Add the above to the mixed tamarind water.
5) Add some fried green chillies to it.
6 ) Add sambar powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves to the tamarind water.
7) Let it boil well. |
