Mint chutney      

 

Ingredients :

Mint leaves - 30 gms

Tamarind paste - 2 tsp

Green chillies - 5

Urad dal - 2 tsp

Chana dal - 4 tsp

Coconut - ¼ cup & salt to taste

 

To Fry :

 

Heat some oil in a pan and add the dal to it.

 

After they are golden brown add the green chillies to them.

 

Then add the mint leaves after frying them the leaves will become ½ the size of the 

original size.

 

Now add the tamarind paste and then the coconut finally & salt to taste.

 

To grind :

Grind them well first without adding water to it,  then add water and grind them 

for the second time.

 

Tip : By grinding them first without adding water the chutney will be ground perfectly.

 

To garnish : 

Heat some oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds.

 

Then add the ½ tsp of urad dal and chana dal each and curry leaves. 

 

Then add it to the chutney.
