Melaghu kolambhu (Pepper Kolambhu)
Ingredients: Tamarind paste - 1 small lemon size Pepper - 1 spoon salt to taste mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon Red chillies- 4 asafetida - 1/2 spoon urad dal - 1/ 2 spoon dal - 1 spoon curry leaves
Preparation: 1) Add curry leaves and salt to the tamarind water
2) Fry the urad dal, dal, pepper, chillies, asafetida in oil.
3) Grind them well to make a paste
4) Add the paste with the tamarind water
5) Let it boil in a pan for a few minutes.
