Karuvepillai Kolambhu ( Curry leaves kolambhu)

 

Ingredients:

Tamarind paste - 1 small lemon size

salt to taste

mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon

Red chillies- 4

asafetida - 1/2 spoon

urad

curry leaves

 

Preparation:

 

1) Fry urad dal, asafetida, chillies with little oil in a pan.

 

2) Grind the above fried with tamarind, salt and curry leaves to make a paste.

 

3) Add some water to the paste to make a kolambhu.

 

4) Let the paste boil in a pan.

 

5) Season it with adding the fried mustard seeds.
