Creamy &  Spicy    Shrimp  Durango to the site from
Peter F. Whacker

Shrimp in a Creamy Durango Sauce, with Fettucine Noodle. Creamy durango sauce and shrimp with fettucine come together for an extraordinary dinner combination.

Makes 6 delicious servings
     Ingredients
1 pound dry fettucine pasta
3 large tablespoons butter
1 pound shimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/8 red pepper (to taste)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
salt & pepper

 To begin :
1.  Bring a large pot of water to boil, add fettuccine noodles and return water to boil.  Boil lightly until noodles are al dente. Drain and set aside.
2.  In a 12"  skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove shrimp from heat and set aside.
3.  In the same skillet, combine wine and lime juice. Bring to a boil. Continue boiling, reducing the mixture  in  half. It should boil about 2 1/2  minutes. Return shrimp to skillet. Add cayenne pepper, red pepper, cilantro, salt and pepper. Stir for about 2 minutes.
4.  Toss together  with the pasta and serve hot.

Add your favorite wine.
Enjoy!! A fun change of pace...
