Badam gheer Ingredients : Badam - 50 gms Milk - 3 cups saffron - a pinch Sugar - 11/2 cups Badam essence - 1tsp
preparation : Soak the badam in hot water for about 3- 4 hours, then peel the outer skin Heat the milk in a non -stick vessel in a low flame let the milk boil and let it reduce to 3/4 of the original quantity Now grind the badam seperately well adding little milk and the sugar Add the ground badam to the boiling milk and a\let it boil together, now add the badam essence Soak the saffron in luke warm milk and add to the boiling mixture when the quantity of the boiling milk reduces to half the quantity of the original qty ,remove the vessel from the stove and serve the badam milk cold. Tip : Always keep the flame low when preparing this badam gheer
